Abstract

Taking into account the references to the Ancient World, the intentional use of Greco-Latin sources in chapters VII and VIII of the second part of Don Quixote is exposed. Therefore, the original classic texts are provided that would transparently frame the context, narrative structure and ideas with which Cervantes intended to imbue these chapters with universal values.
