César Aira and the festival

Abstract

This paper focuses on the book Festival (2011) by César Aira. From it, I read the festivalization of the argentine culture, the relationship between cinema and literature that the book generates, as well as the problem of value in contemporary times. I want to analyze, thus, one of the Cone South fiction’s states, and at the same time, a new spin on the narrative continuum of César Aira.
