The Reception and Editorial Policy of Latin American Short Novel Translations into Albanian

Abstract

This paper offers a panorama of the Latin American short novels published in Albanian, but only in books, not in newspapers or literary magazines, either in Albania or in Kosovo, before and after the political change in the early 1990s. At the same time, it emphasizes the most outstanding aspects that have marked the reception of these short novels within the Albanian context.
