"What can poetry be used for if not to find itself?" An approach to the work of Omar Lara

Authors

Abstract

The exile of Omar Lara (Nueva Imperial, 1941) in Romania marked a milestone in his poetry. Bucharest turned into the city of Portocaliu [Orange]. In this way, we discover assimilations between place and time which encompass the coordinates of a present in disorder and a future that drives the past forward.
