Phraseological expression of ethical and aesthetic values
Abstract
In this paper we analyse the ethical and aesthetical values constructed through phraseological units in Spanish and Serbian. We have based our investigation on the broad conception of phraseology and we deal with proverbial phrases and idioms. The analysis shows that social changes have a strong influence on the formation of values and our ethical and aesthetical principles. It also reveals many similarities between the two languages and cultures concerning the treated values.
