Strengthening the written expression of Romanian university students through Padlet: some didactic proposals
Abstract
This article aims to reflect on the use of the Padlet tool to work on the writing skill in the Spanish foreign language classroom of Romanian students. In this sense, firstly is presented the theoretical framework that revolves around the advantages offered by technology in the language classroom and the importance of teachers having digital competence in the current educational system. Further, three didactic proposals with Padlet are provided that can be used and adapted in any context. The activities have been carried out with A1/A2 university students from the Faculty of Letters of the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj- Napoca (Romania). Through the teacher's reflection and observation, it is possible to appreciate technology, implicitly the Padlet tool, as effective strategies to innovate classes and achieve student motivation, participation, collaboration and in this case, development of writing skill.
